March 13, 2021 - Good left bank style Bordeaux blend from Virginia. Deep ruby, expressive nose of plum, black cherry, vanilla, tobacco dusty gravel. First time trying Glen Manor. This is a good wine. Medium+ Body, nice acidity, smooth tannins, 13.8%.

January 31, 2021 - deep ruby. Aromas are of medium plus intensity with bramble, vanilla, blackberry, toast, sandalwood, blackcurrant leaf. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, medium plus fine grained tannins, high alcohol, medium plus body. The flavor intensity is medium plus with bramble, vanilla, blackberry, toast, sandalwood, blackcurrant leaf. The finish lingers with black fruit and toast. Of note- this needs a long decanting. When first opened it was all tertiary notes and vanilla. Many hours later the fruit shone through.

June 20, 2020 - medium garnet. Aromas of medium plus intensity of blackberry, bramble, toast, compost, char, violets. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity and fine ripe tannins, medium alcohol and medium plus body. The flavors are of medium plus intensity with blackberry, bramble, black cherry, violets, toast, with a medium finish. The wine seems to be just over its peak, losing the fresh fruit- it is there but far in the background. Would drink now and not age further.
