Community Tasting Notes 5

April 1, 2023 - This is a great spot with plenty of life left ahead. It still had room for the oak to more fully integrate and has chewy tannins that tells me it can be forgot about for some time. I could definitely see my score going up in a few years. Deep and concentrated, and unmistakably CA Pinot on the nose. This was nice.

December 29, 2019 - Fresh and firm - like braised prunes in a broth of fowl. Delicious

December 15, 2017 - The wine looks garnet colored. It smells like forest floor, mushroom, light toast, meaty, barnyard and raspberry. It tastes like cranberry, raspberry, prune, forest floor, mushroom and black pepper. The body is light/medium.

November 15, 2017 - It was ok. Needed to breathe.

October 29, 2017 - Ripe blackberry and black cherry flavor. Round mouthfeel. Medium tannin. Sweet oak and mission fig on the finish. Could hold for many more years but also pleasant right now. Would pair with hearty fare like coq au vin
