September 30, 2017 - Cedar, black fruit and dark chocolate on the nose. Reasonably lively acidity. Blackberry, raspberry, tobacco, leather, coffee, chocolate and currant on the palate. Spice in the finish. Much better the second night. Needs a long decant. 89-90.

March 20, 2017 - PnP. Really funky barnyard on the nose. Then a yeasty, bready thing that lasts through the short finish. A little chocolate on the end like a chocolate chip cookie. Medium round mouth feel. Might hold the remaining bottles a bit longer, maybe a year. But drinking well now.
