December 2, 2023 - Mostly Older Cabernet Franc Tasting (New Jersey, USA): One of 8 Cab Franc’s tasted at my “Mostly Older Cab Franc Tasting”… Double decanted at 1pm and tasted from 4-8pm. The bottle was coated inside by fine sediment. Lightly bricked garnet red. Tastes old and leathery with herbal, charcoal, cherry accents. With more air this gets a bit better, darker and more fruit. Middle of the pack for most people.

December 21, 2019 - Had at a friend’s house who had purchased some of this with me some years ago. This was a little disappointing but not bad in any obvious way. Good medium garnet color with just a hint of bricking. Good acidity and a lightly floral and red fruited nose. Palate had some tea and chocolate along with the red fruit and the finish was moderately long, but overall not as interesting as I would have hoped.
