July 20, 2013 - A bit past its prime. Overall a fairly classic aged Bordeaux nose developing but the body was lacking and there was a lightness and lack of grip that was disappointing.

March 11, 2012 - This starts with a cherry tobacco nose- really interesting & really Aussie. Flavors of tabacco, blueberry and dusty, smooth tannins that survive past the fading fruity. While definitely New World, it has plenty of acidity to stand up to a meaty dish. Drinking very nicely right now, I suspect it should be consumed in the next year or two.
