May 16, 2022 - Last glass of a well-cellared bottle opened a few hours prior to my glass being poured from a friend. Slightly cloudy amber brown - maderized nose of hay, nut oils, and butterscotch lending a sense if not the accurate quality of residual sugar. Viscous mouthfeel. Stiffly alcoholic close makes me think this wine is a 15 plusser etoh. Nice sruff still yet as long as you dig the aroma and flavor profiles of sherries and Madeira

Russian River Valley AVA, unlike more recent vintages of Les Noisetiers, that are Sonoma Coast AVA. -
