April 12, 2023 - Slow ox for 2 hours; just entering its prime drinking window, this is showing lots of savory flavors (leather, tobacco, oak) along with deep black fruit (black cherry, cassis), sharp acidity and chalky tannin. No rush to drink this, I think it'll continue to evolve for another year or two and drink well through 2034. Great stuff!

December 15, 2020 - Decanted >1 hour. On the nose a nice bouquet of dark red fruit, fresh bread and spice. Lovely juice with hints of pepper, earth and leather.
