  January 11, 2022 - Vinturi aerated followed by a 3 hour decant. Nose has lots of fruit with tobacco leaf hints. Full bodied and very smooth. Layers of red & black berry fruit. Lots of interest here with every sip. Medium long finish. Simply delicious.

  July 16, 2021 - Not sure if I’ve had any of this before. A few bottles left in the cellar. Decanted for 1 hour and consumed a couple glasses over the next two hours. Dry dusty tannins with nice slightly sweet cherry flavor. Went very nice with portobello pizza.

  March 21, 2018 - Popped and poured but frankly, this ought to have been decanted...or better yet, opened 5 years from now. Deep dark garnet color. Initially a bit reticent on the nose eventually giving way to a hefty amount of delicious dark cherries...that's really about it at the moment. There's a lot more lurking beneath the surface but it's unwilling to bare all at this stage in its life. Ample structure with moderate tannin and acid. A very long and satisfying finish. This should be a really fun wine to follow over the next couple of decades. Now I have the daunting task to try and find more.
