November 11, 2021 - Citrus fruits, heather, fresh chestnuts, chocolate, honey, toffees, and white peppers in the floral and fruity nose; caramel, roasted nuts, stewed fruits, and white peppers on the savory palate; long finish; overall all, 91 points for this rather enjoyable whisky.

March 13, 2019 - Straits Wines - Kavalan Whisky Tasting (Straits Wines @ Serangoon): Savoury spices, bit of greens, cloves. Also, red peppers on the back. Nice oaky and savoury undertone. Dark chocolate and graphite finish
