July 14, 2017 - Bastille Weekend Recent Release Burgundy; 7/14/2017-7/15/2017 (Dig Wines and K&L Wines, San Francisco): Yellow. Pear and spice. Lush feel, some wood, full of interest, good acidity. Very good Aligoté.

February 6, 2017 - Domaine Michel Lafarge au Club Chasse & Pêche (Club Chasse & Pêche): Plus vif et tranchant que samedi, tout aussi chablisien en apparence. Frais et distinctif.
February 4, 2017 - Souper avec Frédéric et Chantal Lafarge (à la maison): De vieilles vignes d'aligoté doré de 77 ans (en 2014) donnent un vin de belle rondeur, vivace, avec une puissance étonnante. Il a une minéralité qui m'aurait probablement amené à Chablis à l'aveugle. Un vin distinctif et original, d'une profondeur rare pour ce cépage. Sans doute le meilleur que j'ai pris. 90 pts
November 23, 2016 - pale yelow. citrus rind fresh nose and bright acid on palate that gets the salivary glands going. Good aperitif. This is the first that I have tried this varietal and if I had to relate it to something I know well I would say it seems like a cross between a burgundy chardonnay and loire sauvingon blanc
