July 10, 2016 - Great, great wine - especially after one hour of breathing, that really rounds it out! Combining the best of unctuous German Spätburgunder character with classic Burgundy Pinot Noir elegance. Almost creamy mouthfeel, bright acidity and lift, cherry and rose petal notes with additional slight herbaciousness and herbal notes with well integrated woodsmoke.
