Community Tasting Notes 1

February 12, 2009 - A truly amazing bottle. Had two others over the last 3 years (no TN written) but if my memory serves me right it never turned up so nicely. A perfect translucent ruby red, no aging signs. Now the wine is open and gives a lot of flavours. The nose is cherry .... and Herbes de Provence and ... oriental spices, a bit saddle leather, smoky and mushrooms. Can't get my nose out of the glass... Grip on the palate, fruity and full-bodied, chewy and lush. Very intense with vanilla tones and an incredible long finish. One of my best Pinot Noirs I had so far.
