January 18, 2018 - Cherry, cassis, cedar, baking spices, palate has more of the same with an amazing silky palate, great intensity, and balance. Still very young and could use a few years. Great stuff.

April 6, 2017 - Again this is such a surprising wine, great tart red fruits, cherry, currants, loads of integrated oak, tea, cigar box, silky smooth and very fresh with terrific balance. Very good!

May 19, 2016 - Nose of cooking spices, tea, oak, cherry and licorice. Silky smooth right out of the gate, building tannins as the finish goes on, it needs a few years to really calm down a bit but with a few hour decant this is really amazing stuff. At the price of 45 this is a steal. This is extremely well made and tastes in the 80-125 price range. Part of the reason is the vintage was incredible but it makes me curious enough to find some other vintages from this producer.
