October 28, 2019 - Pretty ordinary red. No special qualities apart from the low price. It used to be a Penfold's wine but there has been no mention of Penfolds on the front or back label for some years which I think is significant. In fact the label shows the source of the wine to be 97 Sturt Highway, Nuriootpa 5355 which a search reveals to be the Wolf Blass Visitors's Centre. All part of Treasury Wine Estates but Penfold's seem not to want to be associated with it? 82

August 17, 2017 - Has no excitement for a 9 Euro wine. Solid, fresh, a little peppery cool climate black fruits and thats all. Ends short. A bit of a disappointment from the entry wine of an iconic producer. 13.5%.
