July 18, 2019 - Dark magenta with ruby highlights. Bramble, cardamon, and cedar nose. Medium bodied, spicy cranberries, bing cherries, smooth sweet tannins, pepper, tobacco, and a medium to long finish. Delicious and a great value.

October 19, 2018 - This is quite good. Smoked meats, tobacco, and jammy currants. Probably as good as it’s going to get right now. Really enjoyed this.

August 12, 2018 - Not our preferred style, but well suited to the purpose. A bit off-dry, and a little hot (14.5% ABV), but paired well enough with barbecue ribs, roasted potatoes, cucumber-tomato salad, and watermelon. A lovely color - a paler ruby than garnet (which we had expected), but consistent and well balanced, not fading at edges. Cherry and herbal, both on the nose and in the mouth.

December 10, 2017 - Very nice, even second day.

December 5, 2017 - Almost another yr since last tasting has helped this a lot. Great brambly spice and smooth integrated tannins help the fruit really shine now. For sure enough acidity to hold this for a few yrs. Have one more 14' and couple 15's to check up on this in a while. Pretty consistent and great QPR Zin at sale price for a Pnp $15 anytime wine probably more suited to go with food.
