September 5, 2015 - better than previous bottle by a hair. didn't mind air and the fruit was alive and persistent under a soft layer or earth and silky integrated tannin. lovely.

September 28, 2013 - Medium red with orangey edges and clear at the rim. Fragrant shoe polish, sweet spices and incense. Great elegance and beauty, ethereal, soft tannins, rounded but still showing some acidity. Great graphitic core and length. Drink up now.

March 19, 2003 - Tasting 4 Bordeaux at Joe's house, beet red color in the glass, nose of intense fruit, wet clay soil, wet forest floor, more of the same on the palate, touch simple, medium body, nice, long finish. My #4 of 4.
