April 10, 2022 - Chocolate, black cherry, some vanilla and spice. Rich in flavour and dark in colour. Lingers a long while and finishes with smooth tannins. Drink now or hold a little longer.

January 16, 2018 - This is approachable, slightly sweet, big fruit, relatively easy tannins, and the chocolate suggesting comes through on the palate; peppery finish. Nothing standing out as a problem, but not compelling either. Pleasing, but simple, IMO.

November 23, 2017 - Popped and poured. Youthful dark ruby with a great little purple tinge filtering through. I like this wine, its charm is its simplicity and that it delivers a great little McLaren Vale expression at an incredibly respectable RRP. It stands by its label (back label) and delivers. A young juicy wine, don't over think it, knock it back. It will hold another 5 years say and round out a little, but I am enjoying this one fresh ish. Solid
