November 18, 2023 - Light, totally resolved, secondary fruit but still energetic and bright. Have to imagine at peak now. A ton of fun to try.

November 9, 2022 - Poured from a magnum that has been stored at the domaine since release. Basically a perfect wine, I was blown away by how good this was. So fresh and perfectly structured, with elegant and precise fruit. Exceptional winemaking + perfect storage for almost 40 years is a good combination!

August 13, 2021 - From magnum. Incredibly fresh and vibrant. Much energetic than recent 750s. Wonderful complexity on the nose with a variety of sweet and savory spices.

December 26, 2020 - Lighter in style. Still showing the ripeness of the '85 fruit, but now significantly moderated balanced by dry soil and tea notes.

September 27, 2008 - Very pale ruby core. Great and fresh nose with that stemmy Dujac signature with ripe strawberry and some interesting iodine notes. Med body, palate matching nose, this is drinking so well. Elegant, silky, balanced with a very long finish.
I love Dujac wines !

11/6/2005 (link)(Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin "Aux Combottes") Absolutely riveting nose of exotic spice, nuttiness, bright red fruits and sous-bois. Penetrating aromas of great complexity that evolved over the night. There was a new nuance every time I stuck my nose in the very big glass (Riedel Sommelier Burgundy glasses.) Great glasses but felt a litle bit like a character in Alice in Wonderland drinking from these. The palate was incredibly lacey with bright red fruits and wonderful lifting acidity. Great mix of complexity/earthiness and sweet sappy fruit. Still structured to a T. Long finish.
