December 14, 2018 - A week in the Northern Rhone; 12/7/2018-12/15/2018 (Lyon, Vienne, Ampuis, Chavanay, Hermitage, Cornas, St. Joseph, Condrieu & Paris): From the wine list at Le Cerisier (Tournon). First time with this producer and one of the older wines on the list, so we decided to give it a try. Was quite nice with honeyed notes, white peaches and pear, minerals with a touch of heat on the finish. Still quite youthful should be able to age for quite a while for more complexity.

October 1, 2018 - Luscious, round, white and yellow fruits with touches of honeysuckle and salty, crushed stones to round out the picture. You can enjoy this, or age it for more honeyed characteristics.

February 15, 2016 - 60/40 Marsanne/Rousanne. Medium minus nose not very aromatic. Palate is very rich, sugared cashews, cantaloupe, kiwi, creamy layers, nuttiness. Just what I want from Herm Blanc.

January 22, 2016 - Had with a quiche for lunch - perfect. Complex and rich.
