Community Tasting Notes 1

December 28, 2015 - Cloudy ruby in the glass. Very funky nose of leathery red cherry and cranberry raisins for the first 15 minutes. Sour cherry on the palate initially. Opens up well into a very soft and pretty red burg. Soft but young red cherry on the palate with a touch of menthol. Wouldn't have guessed 1982, more like a softer late '90 or early '00. Soft red cherry and raspberry fruit with trace minerality. Nothing amazing but quite enjoyable and certainly a pleasant surprise.
