  February 12, 2017 - Deep color. The nose shows aromas of raspberry, blackberry, spice, cedar and a hint of stewed fruit. This is medium full bodied on the palate with very good concentration and decent class. The medium plus length finish features slightly rustic tannins.

  September 4, 2016 - Good color. The nose shows aromas of spices, dark berries, underbrush and a hint of smoky oak. This is medium bodied on the palate with very good concentration and good class. The fairly long finish features civilised tannins.

  Overall: Light-medium body, high acidity, medium fruit, and moderate complexity. This is such an interesting and fun wine. More like Cabernet Franc than anything else I can think of. This is a wine I could see someone getting stumped on in a blind tasting. Outstanding. I'd gladly buy again.
