September 3, 2023 - Popped and poured and this, my last bottle of three, was extremely satisfying. Green pepper and herbal notes accompanied by a pillowy soft texture. The cab franc is unmistakable but the cab sauv adds body and richness to make this a delicious wine. Drink up as these aren't going to improve from here.

August 6, 2023 - If you like mature claret go for it. Garnet red Lots of fresh mushroom and a bit of black truffle. Medium to full bodied with soft tannins and very good length

December 3, 2017 - Big thyme, leather, tobacco, redcurrant nose. A bit of plumminess and cedar. I think the Cab Franc on the nose would point you to St Emilion, but otherwise the flesh and feel is very Left-Bank. In graceful decline, this was probably a bit more fun in its youth when it had more fruit to balance the herbaceous quality.

    September 4, 2016 - Tasted on 3rd-September-2016.
One out of 6 bottle has faults.
Medium garnet with a thin rim of water.
Enticing bouquet of profuse elegant mixed red fruits interweaving with mushroom, faint oak and dried petals. The woody and floral elements augment the fruity aroma gaining the olfactory dominance. Truly intoxicating.
Medium body with fine expansion and spread across the palate reflecting all the above flavours retro-nasally. Elegant integration between fruit and the matured round tannins. Velvety and silky with a long soothing finish. Surprisingly fine!

May 27, 2016 - Still had some life in it. PNP and still had some life to it.
