March 1, 2021 - Another bottle of this drinking very well right now. Very clean and pure (some of these Qupe auction bottles have been a little funky). Medium ripe style with prominent sanguine and iron notes rather than berry. Good on the first but even better on the second night.

November 24, 2020 - 14.8% abv. Recent auction purchase.
Ready to go from the pop 'n pour. This is really a nice, pure, balanced red with lots of lovely Syrah character. A touch of heat detracts a little, but this was very enjoyable. Went very well with chicken ravioli with red pesto sauce. Much better than the 2004 Bien Nacido I drank the other night.1 person found this helpful Comment
