December 15, 2023 - first time trying this wine and probably past prime but overall interesting and enjoyable. Would start thin but would really open up in the glass. Funky, cranberry, earthy, long dry finish.

September 24, 2021 - Can't add much to the fine descriptions below. However, the wine is still drinking beautifully. We did not decant, but rather opened the bottle about an hour before the meal and poured two glasses immediately. That seemed to provide sufficient aeration. Four bottles remaining to be consumed over the next two to four years.

November 28, 2019 - This wine needs a good decant, 1hr or more before the balloon blows off. The nose has musty blueberry and damp soil present. The wine is medium bodied with a smooth elegant texture. The tannins are fully integrated. The wine has good acidity. Cherries and cranberries are followed by chaulky minerals finishing with some sage and roasted chestnuts. The finish is reasonably long.

January 25, 2019 - This is a very elegant 100% Grenache wine. It took approximately 30 min after decanting to open up. The nose has a little yogurt on it framed with blueberry, tobacco, a hint of petrol. The wine is medium to full bodied. It is smooth and long with soft tannins. Oodles of dark stuff, not all fruity: dark chocolate, dried cherries, lingonberry, hints of tobacco and anise. The wine finishes long with fruit slowly yielding to aromatics and finally to a gentle warmth of alcohol.

August 24, 2017 - This is much more open (after a 30 min decant) than my previous bottle with ripe cherry, kirsch, raspberry, red plum, floral notes, hints of smoke and garrigue. The palate is now showing plush delicious fruit with nice structure and acidity and underlying mineral notes. A really nice Grenache that is getting better and should be excellent over the next 2-6 years. A very good value.
