November 15, 2023 - Drunk with the 2014 Chevalier. Both fantastic and a beautiful pairing.

November 8, 2023 - Green gold. Focused but reticent, primary nose; smoky flint and steel; an almost delicate florality is encased in ultra-expensive, tight-grained oak that is beginning to merge with the fruit. Very (very) rich on the palate, flinty, primary, and beautiful; peaches and apricots from Jesus' own orchards are awaiting delivery in the next life of this beauty. Absolutely, and literally, mouthwatering and comically long finish. The scent from the empty glass is just mesmerizing. Wowzers and holy shit is this thing SINGING. (Open 24-36 hours)
Edited to add: I'd say this is nearing the end of youth. A solid 20 years of improvement is ahead to reach full maturity. It will keep -- and probably improve in marginal, ineffably wonderful ways -- after that for longer than most of us will be alive.

June 28, 2023 - We opeend and decanted this. From the absolute beginning this was so approchable with lime lemon elements. Such a delicate nose. And continued to reward as we drank this through the evening. There was a precision and linearity to this beautiful wine. It rounded/filled up a little more but really not much fault to this. Will see how this evolves in 5-10 years

April 19, 2023 - Cold rainy Nite in MSP but all was good at St Genevieve tonight! Flighted w/ Ramonets '14 Bienvenues-Bâtard. I loved both of them and its hard to pick a favorite even though both offered somewhat different expressions. Both delivered the absolute upmost in fruit purity, terroir expression, minerality and finesse. Both will live in my head for a good long time as two of my best ever experiences with Chardonnay's hallowed ground in Puligny Montrachet Grand Cru vyds in the hands of two of the best producers. This was slightly more direct & focused while the Ramonet showed a bit more fruit and yet felt the most buoyant and graceful of the two for me. I absolutely loved them both. They both passed the theme requirements ( BALANCE) with flying colors! Thanks Brad E. You should have had the trout with these :). My 2 CO-WOTN.
