July 17, 2021 - Last notes on 12/11/19. Nose: Still the same big lemon oil aromas like previous bottles along with the subtle fusile minerality. Palate: Still amazing acidic tension for a 7 year old Bourgogne Blanc with the candied lemon occuring after the wine has left the palate. The subtle fusile quality on the nose is evidenced here as well. Just a fabulous wine that has legs. Glad to have one more left. Now 92 points. Shout out to my friend Craig (Chablis28) for his excellent notes on this wine.

January 8, 2021 - My last of several bottles of this absolute steal of a deal at $27. Incredible for the price, six years on and this is still very nice on the second night, indicating it could go on for several more years in a good cellar, no problem.

    What CHABLIS28 said.

In some ways better on the second night, though it lost most of the fine spice, nutmeg on the finish, but the perfectly tuned caramelized fruits were still there and stepped up just a notch, beautifully. Threaded with minerality with dried fruits, apricot, and melon along with lemon zest and hints of toasted nuts. Floral notes are subtle but persistent.

A '93' for me really is towards the top of my CT range, but the wine is truly excellent, bordering on outstanding, so there you have it.

(My scores do not consider price, they are absolute; QPR is noted in text. I'm trying to broaden my scoring range to not be so stingy while avoiding aping the inflation we all read in the "professional" scores - if it's a very good wine but not truly "excellent", it's still going to top out at '89'.)

April 1, 2020 - The vines for this cuvée are said to be located in the villages of Puligny-Montrachet (Les Champs Perriers is the name of the lieu-dit) and Meursault (Les Magny and Sous la Velle). But the wine is labeled simply "Bourgogne Chardonnay." The oldest vines in these parcels are 60 years of age; the average is about 40. PnP and slow ox 30 minutes prior to dinner. Ready to go. Light green gold color. Enveloping citrus and minerally aromas. Lip smacking concentration with a range of balanced and intense citrus flavors, hint of tropical fruit and compelling minerality. Harmonious and lip smacking delicious! 12.5% Alc. A mini Meursault steal for just $25!

December 19, 2019 - Consumed over two nights and it was very well liked, though I wasn't as impressed with this bottles as I was with previous. This represents very nice value in white Burgundy these days under $30 from a great vintage. This punches above its Bourgogne label.

December 11, 2019 - Still drinking very solid. Mini PM under disguise of a Bourgogne. Only 2 bottles left in the cellar.
