redder than your normal shiraz, but still maintains some purple.
alcohol on the nose (12.5%), not much fruit, creamy vanilla aroma apparent on opening, interesting.
disappointing on the palate. very acidic, almost to the point of being off-balance. i really can't pick out any particular flavor, though it's pretty puckery tannic (which may explain the label's claim that this wine "will cellar well for years"). finish is medium 5-10s
hmm, as i drnk it's growing on me, but not that much. the nose is pretty nice, but the acid is just overwhelming.
