March 11, 2023 - Pleasantly surprised this $12 clearance wine purchased 5 yrs ago has some redeeming qualities for that price point. Decanted for 1 hr to reveal dark blackberry and cherry fruit with some tannins and smooth finish. Have a fogotten 04' will have to see if it might still deliver.

March 6, 2023 - Thanks to Gene R. for bringing this wine for dinner at Harbor Ridge. I thought it was fabulous. While he said it was just another cheap wine, I found a wonderfully aged cabernet. Notes of blackberry fruit, ripe fig, plum skin, and dried cherry. It's mid pallete reveals more secondary notes of iron and some graphite. Finish is strong and it's the major factor in my score on this wine.
