  December 5, 2023 - On the bigger side, with lots of chewy tannins doing a pipe tobacco and cranberry thing. Some new oak but well integrated. No rush on this. Drinks like a meal.

  March 30, 2019 - Nice depth of color. Tobacco and anise on the nose. Cherry, cigar tobacco, minerals, and dark chocolate with a tannic and cinnamon tart finish.

  March 9, 2019 - Absolutely delicious and approachable this evening. Tart notes of cranberry laced with a soy sauce like umami component paired incredibly well with the fatty aspects of a prime tri-tip and roasted root vegetables.
  Soft in texture with integrated tannins, the wine seems to be in a nice window. My feeling from this bottle, admittedly a sample size of one- so take it for what it is worth, is drink now or hold and roll the dice, not sure that there is much upside in the future.

  December 6, 2018 - Muted nose of forest floor. Fruit here seems a bit reserved compared to the last bottle. Pretty tangy from the acidity. Firm tannic spine. Solid.
