January 1, 2019 - Similar notes to the last bottle, though with some raisin notes. I understand the attraction to this - lots of structure and depth. Not sure it is quite my cup of tea - though still have another 4 bottles to drink.

January 21, 2017 - Davyd's Birthday Celebration 2017 (Extra Space): Tasted blind.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Evil long legs.
Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of PORT, soy-sauce, tar, earth, raisinated black fruits. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, very high alcohol (16.5%), integrated medium+ tannins, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of dried and shrivelled raisinated on the vine black cherries, burnt Christmas fruit cake, Port, soy sauce, earth, tar, licorice. Long Porty hot finish.
Very good quality for what it is. Clearly not my cup of tea though. Some others liked it. Time to drink up. What other improvement or development could you possibly still want?
Above tasting note was really written while tasting this blind. Did not have any inkling what wine this was. Well, the winery itself declares that they harvest the grapes for this overripe. -

November 6, 2016 - Lots of depth and character in this wine. Blackcurrant, plum, tobacco, mocha. Still fresh with plenty of ageing potential. Not sure it's worth the price but very nice anyway.

January 2, 2015 - Raid Len's Cellar #6: Chocolate, plum, raisin and resin and licorice. Mouthcoating on the palate, there is plenty of dried/dead fruit flavour, but the acidity is impressive in its scope and drive, actually leaving it feeling balanced. Enjoyable in a small quantity.

March 31, 2013 - Disturbingly strong nose of ethanol alcohol, unfortunately. On the palate, started extremely fruity with decisive characteristics of cherry and blackberry jam and finished with an extremely strong black pepper taste with hints of cedar. Deep ruby color with nice tannins. Thick and heavy texture. A unique wine, somewhat disappointed at the price and quality relationship. Why make this with 16.5% alcohol?
