March 24, 2024 - Wish I would’ve drank this two years ago! Otherwise still holds up, but not as good as I remember!

August 25, 2023 - Aging beautifully. This is classic Lynmar with a depth of character that is unique to the Five Sisters. Will take better notes next time around.

July 11, 2020 - This was a fantastic wine to experience over a long evening, as it really transformed over ~3-4 hours. Deep ruby in the glass with a moderately expressive nose, mostly consisting of blueberry and cigar smoke at first. Very lush fruit on the palate when first poured, with plenty of bright acidity and a medium-weight on the palate; a heavy emphasis on red and blue fruits like cherry and raspberry. As it evolved, more spice emerged and more depth, both in the aromatics and on the body; forest floor and lightly toasted oak started to come through and add some lovely layers to complement the fruit. Definitely one of the more complex offerings from Lynmar and a lovely example of the 2013 vintage, showing that it has many more years of age-worthiness if you have the patience.

May 25, 2018 - Drank at Hawks for donnas 52nd. Spicy at the throat. Next time drink with spicy food. Good but not a$95 dollar bottle. Donna thinks Maggie Hawk is better
