January 30, 2020 - an elegant and refined pinot noir from Alto Adige which expresses the best characters of the grape. Not as complex as the Barthenau sant'Urbano, but true and straight, able to compete with the best villages from Bourgogne at an attractive price tag. Some fruit and elegant hints of smoke in the aftertaste. This bottle much better than the last I opened.

December 8, 2019 - One year later my last bottle, this pinot noir from Alto Adige is still austere with dark notes of blackcurrant and and blackberries with some spices in the backgound. Not as gentle as expected but powerful. Well below its elder brother Barthenau Sant'Urbano but with its own DNA
