  November 4, 2023 - 25th Annual Lyon 10 Year Retrospective (Lyon Down Inn): 95+, this bottle would not surprise anyone who likes Hall Cabs. Big, dense and long with currants, blueberries, spice, earth and oak. 95 on day 2, with even better balance (despite the tiny fruit fade). 2024-2030.

  October 6, 2023 - Cork broke at base. Decanted for 45 mins. Overall, big deep spicy and full bodied CS, but not overly complex. Dark heavy purple color. Nose: ripe dark fruit, berries, and licorice and hint of nutmeg. Flavor of t
  ight tannins on very front, subtle fruit of plums and blueberry. Added brightness in middle with dark bitter chocolate. Finishes with black pepper spice and light tobacco.

  August 20, 2023 - Great Napa cab, tons of fruit, but well balanced and at a mid-stage of maturity. Can drink now with air or hold for at least 5-7 years.

  April 9, 2023 - WOW. Decanted for three hours. This is a wonderful, outstanding Cab. Smooth, rich, a Cab’s Cab. Had it with grilled lamb chops.
