July 26, 2021 - Dark, Inky garnet with hints of prune and bubblegum on the nose. Surprisingly tannic - lots of tannins - with more prune, raisin, green pepper, and earthy notes on the palette. Some leather and smoke, perhaps, and red berries. This is a steal.

June 2, 2016 - Weygandt at Flatiron (Flatiron, SF): Earthy (no overt Brett that I noticed) with a dollop of dark red fruit, slight raisination (millerandage from the Grenache?). Seems very correct for a southern rhone. Medium body, slightly elevated alcohol, medium acid. medium tannins.
