  June 7, 2021 - lots of strawberry and rhubarb fruit with a nice backbone of earth. Well-balanced, decent acidity and a long finish.

  March 22, 2020 - Much better than a year ago. Notes of blue and black fruits, sage, bacon, flowers, some tannins and a little sweet on the finish.
  
  We had a Covid-19 stay-at-home dinner with venison curry atop quinoa with baked potatoes and carrots on the side. A good pairing with the spicy curry flavors, the venison, the sweet of the raisins and even the quinoa.

  April 5, 2019 - On its own, notes of rhubarb, a little strawberry, currants and black fruit, plus sweet oak and some tannins. Drinkng much better than a year ago.
  
  With the Kingston baby back ribs, a good pairing with the sweet notes in the sauce pairing with the sweet oak in the wine.
  
  76% syrah, 21% grenache, 3% viognier.

  March 16, 2018 - Delicious nose of rhubarb and dark stone fruit and a hint of saddle leather. Soft yet full body with and interesting interaction of flavors. Hints of rose petals and fresh tobacco leaf.
