  May 2, 2023 - Dinner with the wine group (Zazie's, San Francisco): Light-medium ruby; aromatic with a bit of Brett?, rustic red fruits; palate is light bodied, high acidity, low alcohol, red fruited; finish is medium length. Good food wine. 88-89

  Nevertheless, after 3 hrs: nose of soft plum, gamebird and cocoa, and the softest touch of VA. On the palate, slightly less compelling, hi-toned black and red fruit with some green notes and a tangy, bright finish. Conclusion: seems solid to good with a fair amount of air!
