August 19, 2023 - Clear ruby red colour. Raspberries and sweet cherries with hints of minerals on the nose. Taste of sweet cherries and raspberries with hints of minerals. Firm tannins with a complex and dry finish. An excellent wine. Goes well with light meat or mushrooms.

May 2, 2023 - Dinner with the wine group (Zazie's, San Francisco): Light-medium ruby; aromatic with a bit of Brett?, rustic red fruits; palate is light bodied, high acidity, low alcohol, red fruited; finish is medium length. Good food wine. 88-89

August 8, 2022 - Pop and pour. One btl remaining. This tasted over the hill at first: no nose, tired palate. I didn't pour it down the drain and my father-in-law insisted on tasting it. He said: it isn't flawed, which is true, but it also seemed well past prime at the time.
Nevertheless, after 3 hrs: nose of soft plum, gamebird and cocoa, and the softest touch of VA. On the palate, slightly less compelling, hi-toned black and red fruit with some green notes and a tangy, bright finish. Conclusion: seems solid to good with a fair amount of air!

June 27, 2020 - Seems to have lost some of it's brightness this vintage.

August 4, 2019 - Terribly 1 dimensional and super linear. Not buying again. Go find an $18 Beaujolais that will drink better than this.
