    December 8, 2018 - Very harsh tannins, high alcohol content. Drinkable, but not quite enjoyable. In future I will avoid bottles with combination of these two words: "jacob's" and "creek". I have tasted lot of them and every bottle has caused a disappointment, no matter if it was cheap or not so. Unfortunately, "Jacob's Creek" is making an image of whole Australian wine industry in very negative way. In European stores this brand occupies immense share of wine shelves, and it isn't uncommon that this is the only Australian brand available. Luckily, we have lot of Chilean, South African and, of course, our own European wines to choose from.

    (NV Jacob's Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Double Barrel) Saturated, very dark red violet color; lifted, red currant, menthol nose; tasty, red currant, menthol palate with good balancing acidity; medium-plus finish 91+ points
