August 8, 2020 - High acid still after 9 years although some of the structural elements have faded a bit. Good not great but likely to be good for a long time. Glad I got this wine and was introduced to the winery.

August 23, 2019 - Earthy, brooding nose of dark fruit, potting soil & leather, rich, complex palate of black currant & black cherry, graham crack crust, coffee beans, dark chocolate, cedar & pepper, plush tannins, long finish. Perfect with Rohan duck breast, crispy confit roll, hakurei turnip, seared foie gras, spiced jus.
