Community Tasting Notes 2

December 17, 2021 - 1.5 hour decant. Aggressive big nose still for the age. Blackberry, currant, fig, vanilla, and a bite on the nose that says “I’m powerful”. Some sediment in the glass. On the palate this wine has big juicy tannins with black fruit predominating. Alcohol is high with a medium lingering finish. Very big body on this wine, now all I need is a fat steak! Drink now with potential still for aging.

April 6, 2019 - This wine opened up beautifully when I decanted it. Delicious.
