November 17, 2019 - BlackBerry jam, herbal notes, plum. Finish is short but has matured nicely. Needs to be consumed now.

July 31, 2018 - My last bottle in April was oh-so-average ... so this final cellared CCGE certainly surprised to the upside. Perhaps the several-month sit after delivery was the key then.

April 13, 2018 - An OK juice for the six + change tariff I exchanged with wine.com. Deathly boring, but at least it wasn't offensive; ultimately it suited its purpose of a midweek simpleton.

March 7, 2018 - Nose of toasted marshmallow, dark fruit, blackberry. Nice mouthfeel with moderate, smooth tannins. Taste of raspberry, blueberry, vanilla. Short finish. Overall, feel like the strong oak keeps it from being a great wine, but is a solid value wine. Pleasurable to drink.
