January 23, 2024 - A ton of alcohol. But very tasty overall. Could almost be a dessert wine.

January 11, 2024 - Christmas spices waft up. Thick kirsch. In a really wonderful place.

November 26, 2023 - Exactly what I was looking for on a cold dreary rainy football Sunday afternoon. Couldn’t drink it every day but I love this wine. Probably time to drink up

April 28, 2023 - My last bottle. Decanted for 2-3h. Lots of sandalwood, spices, cinnamon, vanilla on the nose. The palate shows vibrant and intense red berries, more baking spices, minerality, tannins, black pepper. The sweet red fruit is balanced by the symphony of spices and just the right amount of acidity. Clearly still in its drinking window, and excellent, consistent with previous notes.

December 24, 2022 - Deep garnet in the glass. Pronounced aromas of dried blackberry, dried plum, raisin, syrup, licorice, caramel, and smoke. High acidity, medium+, grippy tannins that were mostly resolved, and medium+, alcoholic finish. Very powerful wine with a long life ahead, but the alcohol was a little overpowering for my taste.
