June 12, 2023 - Same as the last. It's in a good place and doesn't need a decant.

June 10, 2023 - From .375, deep maroon color. Palate is savory, drying tannins after 90 minutes in glass. Recommend open well ahead or decant 60 minutes.

May 20, 2023 - Currant, blackberry, cedar, cigar box, a whiff of spice, this is a beautiful wine. Plenty of structure, tannins still firm, this has plenty of life left but it’s in a good place to open now. I pulled the cork tasted a little and decided not to decant. I left it open in the bottle on the counter for about two hours. Enjoyed with a ribeye. Have a six pack coming—-looking forward to it.

April 23, 2023 - PnP, consumed over 3 hours. Appearance: Clear, garnet from core to rim, little edge browning as expected. Nose: Clean, medium intensity with aromas of dried black cherry, pomegranate, soy, earth, and leather. Palate: Dry, medium acid, soft medium tannins, medium body, medium+ intensity, 13.5% abv with flavors of tart dark red fruit, leather, and black olive with a medium+ finish. Overall, a very good wine likely just past peak. Dominated by tertiary characteristics - leather and tart dried fruit while still maintaining excellent intensity and length. Drink now.

March 25, 2023 - Black currant, anise, glue. Palate is fresh, vibrant quite good length. Dominates of herbs, and black currants fudge and cola.
