March 6, 2024 - Reminds me so much of a 2012 Shafer HSS but a bit more peppery. Lovely wine pared well with flank steak and chimichurri.

December 25, 2023 - Phenomenal. Decanted for 2 hours before serving with prime rib. Nose of black and blue fruits, and rich, deep palate with luscious berries, dark cherry, and hints of spice. It held its own against a 2010 Insignia, another great wine but one that costs at least twice as much. Just a tremendous wine, and at a decade old it still felt young at times, occasionally being almost two fruit forward. This is one to drink now and drink later, if you're lucky enough to do so.

December 17, 2023 - This was spectacular. Well worth the wait. Rich, complex, with fantastic fruit. Took it to dinner with Adam and James and we made it disappear in an instant. Really memorable and fantastic. Glad I have one more left.

December 11, 2023 - Loads of black fruits on the nose. Still youthful, nice mouthfeel, but a tad of a fruit punch juice note at the backend, which should dissipate if you’re more patient than I was. Not the greatest QPR, but was still a treat to drink.

November 29, 2022 - Nose of dark fruit. Tasted chocolate, dark cherries and some spice on the palate. Great silky structure. The Cab Franc seems very noticable.
