Community Tasting Notes 3

May 18, 2022 - Bricking obvious in the glass, a nose of dark fruit and earth. More dark fruit with complete tannin integration, very soft and smooth. Medium finish. Very enjoyable wine but when looking at previous notes this was probably past its peak and would have been better 2-3 yrs ago. However, that being said, it was quite enjoyable.

April 17, 2018 - I believe there are about 7 different native Portugese grapes in this blend. A dry red with loads of character and depth of red and black fruits both ripe and a twinge of sourness at the end of the long finish. This wine took about an hour in the decanter to come around. Very smooth. In addition to fruit elements, there was some dried herbs and smoke.

April 12, 2017 - Violets, tar, wood smoke, blackberrry, earth. The complex nose follows through on the palate with wonderful intense blackberry and currant flavours, lovely balance, no discernible tannins, drinking beautifully now. Wonderful.
