November 10, 2021 - This bottle didn't pop as much as the other one. Might have been ever so slightly corked, or perhaps just a lesser bottle than the first. The funky aromas did come out to play but the palate was somewhat lacking this time.

April 14, 2021 - Several bottles after the previous note. I like this more and more and it performs really well among classy BDX (we rated it #2 in recent degustation) or for example after some bottles of Sangiovese. This bottle had a good cork and tasted even younger then average. Once again, not too complex but solid and pleasant. 8 more reserved))

January 23, 2021 - Inexpensive Claret that ages beautifully. This was the 5-th bottle, all quite consistent in quality. Black and some red fruits, some marmalade, leather, vanilla, dustiness, nice and evident acidity (specially this bottle). Medium concentration. Of course there’s no complexity of higher level BDX, but the wine is very enjoyable and a real bargain respecting the price. Decanted (lot of sediment) and consumed within 1,5 hours, performed very well.
One notice: cork is qiute tired so use two-prong (gypsy) corkscrew.

October 3, 2019 - As before - nice, relatively simple, young-ish tasting for its age, Bordeaux
