  July 31, 2022 - Dark, nearly opaque. Nose of wood shavings, cedar, spice and dark berries. Delicious now and will likely continue to mellow in a few years.

  July 13, 2019 - A bit on the fruit as the tannins are minimal. Hard to say as it was delicious and it did not get much air after PNP.

  November 6, 2018 - A decent cab....leather, muted red/black fruit, plenty of acidity and tannins, a little iron on the back end. A nice wine but not great. It's pricepoint beckons for more. This was at one point an elite cab house but no longer. Probably coincides with the owner's decision to sell the historic winery property to Cade in the recent past. They saw the writing on the wall.....

  November 4, 2018 - Old world style with dirt and subtle dark berries and understated plum. A refreshing change from the more forward modern. Took three hours to open up both the nose and palate. May have gotten better but we were watching a football game. If you don't have some patience and a traditional inclination this is not the wine for you. I liked how it kept evolving.
