  March 4, 2024 - I just opened this and can't decide if I like this or not. Very unexpected and different from any other wine that I have tried before. There is a touch of barnyard, leaf, and cherry pit. Not a fruity wine at all with a touch of volatile acid. I can't decide upon the balance of this wine. It definitely is tart but not unnaturally so, the tannins are also not overwhelming. The finish has a slight tea like bitterness, stemminess? I don't think I will buy this again but it does make me think and process it

  January 28, 2020 - oh i like this.
  not unlike a heftier gamay, a bit dense and i really like the freshness on the finish and the sort of brooding iron/blood and sappy fruit thing on the front palate. definitely real rough around the edges tannin and structure wise but for this price point: damn! i like!

  June 9, 2017 - Barnyardy, earthy nose, some dark fruits. Medium to full bodied. Very nicely structured, good and round tannins. Quite powerful finish with lingering aftertaste and very balanced acidity. Some elegance.
