October 18, 2008 - Pop and poured. Ruby color. Nose of cedar, earth and red fruit, with some wet leaves in the background. Tart sour cherry, with cedar and earthy tones recurring on the palate. Nice acidity and decent finish, but its a little thin and hollow on the midpalate, which I think is reflective of the vintage. Still, a solid effort, and could still take some age easily.

December 27, 2004 - Dark ruby color, with coffee, chocolate and curry spice on the nose, and a palate of black fruits. Quite tannic, this definitely needs some more cellar time, but should be a nice bottle in a few years.
