January 30, 2009 - Dark fruits and oak on the nose. Blueberry, blackberry up front. Some plum and vanilla on the mid-palate. Blackberry, cedar on the finish. Oak has become more prominent on the nose compared to 8 months ago. It is still loaded with juicy fruit but not as interesting in aroma now.

May 10, 2008 - Blueberry, blackberry, violets, and lots of black pepper on the nose. Lots of fruit. Blueberry, blackberry, plum, black currant. Some cedar mixes with the fruit on the mid-palate. Long finish. Some bitter tannins at the end. Huge wine, very much a fruit bomb. Well made. I gave it an extra point for the nose.
