January 22, 2018 - Mildly appealing nose that quickly disappoints at first taste. All red fruit with a sweet finish makes me think this is just 2 Buck Chuck in a heavy bottle and slightly more fancy label. This wine is GARBAGE!

Deep clear garnet.
Nose has cherry on front, black pepper, basic cabernet.
Palate shows reasonable balance of fruit, tannin, acid. Decent texture and finish. -

October 26, 2016 - Day two, more of the same, a bit less oak, but the wine held together nicely, still on the thin side, but big flavor, good backbone.

October 26, 2016 - Bright red fruit, cassis, sweet cooking spices, chewy tannins, a lot of integrated oak good finishing acidity. Drinks well now, probably better in a year or two. Texture is a bit thin, but for the price it's pretty decent.
